Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ADHD Care ("we", "us"). By using our websites, completing an assessment, or purchasing any product or membership, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What we provide

ADHD Care provides:

• Online self-assessments based on established screening frameworks, including the World Health Organization Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale (ASRS-v1.1);
• Personalised educational reports summarising your responses and attention profile;
• Self-management plans and materials, delivered by email, including weekly action plans, worksheets and guides;
• Membership giving continued access to new materials each period.

These are educational and self-help resources. They are not a medical service, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional care. See section 10 and our Medical Disclaimer.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Assessments concerning a child must be completed by that child's parent or legal guardian.

4. Your details

You are responsible for providing an accurate email address — it is how we deliver everything you purchase. If you create a member login, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Purchases, subscriptions and billing

5.1 Prices and currency

Prices are shown before you pay, in your local currency, and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. The exact amount, the currency, the billing interval and any trial period are displayed on the payment page before you confirm.

5.2 Automatic renewal

Our memberships are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. Current membership terms are:

Where a promotional or first-period price applies, it applies to that period only; renewals are charged at the standard rate shown at checkout.

5.3 Payment methods and failures

Payments are processed by Stripe. We accept cards and, depending on your country, KakaoPay, NaverPay and BLIK. If a payment fails, we may retry it a limited number of times and may suspend access until payment succeeds.

5.4 Price changes

We may change subscription prices. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before a change takes effect for you, and you may cancel before then if you do not wish to continue.

6. Cancelling your membership

When you cancel, no further charges are made. You keep access to the period you have already paid for, until it ends.

7. Refunds and withdrawal rights

Refunds, the EU right of withdrawal and our refund conditions are described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, sublicense or publicly distribute our reports, plans or materials;
• use the service to provide medical advice or clinical services to others;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with their operation;
• submit false payment information or another person's details without authority;
• use the service unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

9. Intellectual property

All content we provide — including assessments, reports, plans, worksheets, text, design and branding — is owned by ADHD Care or its licensors. When you purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use your materials for your own personal, non-commercial use. All other rights are reserved.

The ASRS-v1.1 screening framework is a World Health Organization instrument; we reference it as the basis of our screening questions and claim no ownership of it.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits or data.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue a service you have paid for, we will refund the unused portion.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date shows the current version. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
